U11 and u12 Hurling

Our u11 & u12 boys were on the road again today with the u11s playing in the Stone Phelan Ballyragget Hurling Tournament. With great hurling skills and commitment they came out with 2 wins against Castletown and Munroe Boher (Limerick) and a tough 1 point defeat by Tullaroan. The boys never gave up!

The u12’s travelled to Abbotstown new GAA National Development centre with 54 other clubs taking part in this u12 hurling blitz, they played 3 games and won 3 defeating Kildalkey, Camross  (Laois) and Castletown Geoghegan.

All these boys are proudly representing our club near and far. Well done boys, parents, supporters and mentors. The future is bright! 😎

At full time with both sides level extra time was agreed and in the closing stages of extra time a draw still looked on the cards until Colin Carley scored a tremendous point from the sideline to win the game.
